Depilation and epilation are both popular ways of getting rid of unwanted hair, but there are important differences between them.
What Is Depilation?
Depilation means removing unwanted hair temporarily, by removing the part of the hair above or just below the skin. Epilation is different: it targets the hair root to remove hair permanently.
Depilation Methods
Common depilation methods include waxing, tweezing, depilatory cream and an epilator. At our salon we offer hygienic waxing.
How Is Depilation Done?
Depilation by shaving
Shaving is painless, but hair starts to grow back within a few days. It suits people with fine, sparse hair; for thick hair, waxing gives a much longer-lasting result.
